Today we explored the town of Beaune and then we went on the La Rochepot Scenic Vineyard Route which leads to a big castle called Château de Chassagne-Montrachet. Canon fire damaged the castle during the French Revolution. The owners of the castle have fixed the place up.
After setting up our tent we went to dinner at L’auberge Bourguignonne we had snails, duck Foie Gras (duck liver) and steak with more Foie Gras on top of it. After dinner we took some photos and went back to the camp site and went to bed.
Beaune is my favorite place in France and we had a fabulous time at the Château de Chassagne-Montrachet. Amazing wine (for the adults of course)! 🙂
